Peter Saville is a graphic designer from the 90s, and is known world wide mainly for his album covers, creating sleeves for New Order and Joy Division (bands well known in the 90s). It was at the Manchester Polytechnic that Saville studied graphic design for three years before working for Factory Records.
Since then Saville has also worked in fashion and textiles.
Saville’s work shows previous research of 90s posters etc. to be true. He uses bright colours, only a few, and block sort of writing, with little imagery.

I like the colours used in Saville’s work and the typography, it makes them look crisp, clean and sophisticated.
